The Book of Rotary

  1. In the city of Hiroshima, an engineer dreamed in circles.
  2. He saw motion not as explosion, but as rotation.
  3. And thus was born the Rotary – the fire that spun instead of struck.
  4. It was small in size, vast in soul.
  5. An engine that defied physics and patience alike.
  6. The faithful called it miraculous; the wary, impossible.
  7. It did not thrum like the others – it sang. Its wail rose to heaven and lingered there.
  8. A cry of joy, fragile yet fierce.
  9. Each revolution a confession of genius, each apex a leap of faith.
  10. For it ran not on oil alone, but on optimism.
  11. The faithful tended it like monks at a flame.
  12. They learned its rituals, its moods, its mercy.
  13. And when it failed, they forgave.
  14. For love born of imperfection is the truest kind.
  15. And the Rotary, flawed and fragile, was loved completely.
  16. From the RX-7 to the 787B, its song became legend in both street and sky.
  17. Le Mans itself bowed before its persistence.
  18. But brilliance burns dearly.
  19. The fire consumed faster than the world would allow.
  20. And soon the Rotary was silenced, its temples shuttered.
  21. Yet the faithful did not forget.
  22. They rebuild, they relight, they revive.
  23. Every spark a prayer, every start a resurrection.
  24. For they know the flame still waits. Patient, circular, eternal.
  25. It does not die; it only rests.
  26. In dreams, the faithful still hear its rise, a siren song of smoke and salvation.
  27. They wait for the day its hum returns, when the circle will turn again.
  28. And so it was written: “Not all hearts beat – some revolve.”
  29. And the Rotary turned once more, glowing softly against the darkness of time.
  30. For perfection may fade, but passion endures forever.

There are pages still blank, stories not yet spoken, machines awaiting their moment in scripture. If there is a car, a maker, or a myth we have not yet written - speak it. And together, we shall write the next verse of the Gospel.
