The Book of Volvo

  1. In the cold light of the north, a guardian was born.
  2. Its name was Volvo, and its creed was care.
  3. For while others sought speed, Volvo sought survival.
  4. It was forged not in fire, but in foresight.
  5. The makers said, “A car must protect what it carries.”
  6. And so began the gospel of safety.
  7. Steel became their shield, glass their promise.
  8. Every bolt a vow to those within.
  9. For life, they said, is the greatest luxury.
  10. The people trusted it through storm and snow.
  11. They crossed mountains and winters unafraid.
  12. For Volvo was not a chariot of pride, but of peace. Its shape was square, its heart sincere.
  13. Critics mocked its plainness, yet the faithful knew beauty hides in honesty.
  14. Families praised it, Travellers depended on it.
  15. Even those who never owned one respected its intent.
  16. The seatbelt became its symbol. Simple yet sacred – a gift to all mankind.
  17. And the world grew safer for its wisdom.
  18. When the age of excess arrived, Volvo stood apart.
  19. It spoke softly amid the noise, saying, “Strength need not shout.”
  20. Engineers became its priests. Testing, measuring, refining without fame.
  21. For salvation, they believed, lies in preparation.
  22. And when the years passed and the metal grew weary, still its spirit guarded those who remained.
  23. For a promise kept in steel echoes long after the engine sleeps, and faith endures where danger once stood.
  24. In time, its name became synonymous with trust.
  25. And the faithful drove onward, their families asleep in peace.
  26. And so it was written: “Blessed are the cautious, for they shall arrive.”
  27. And the guardian of Sweden watched over the road, silent and sure.

The Book Not Yet Written

There are pages still blank, stories not yet spoken, machines awaiting their moment in scripture. If there is a car, a maker, or a myth we have not yet written - speak it. And together, we shall write the next verse of the Gospel.
