The Book of Mazda

  1. Among the makers of Japan there rose one who chose a different path.
  2. Its name was Mazda, and its faith was fire.
  3. Where others followed reason, Mazda followed sound.
  4. For the world sought power in pistons. Yet Mazda heard another calling – The hum of rotation, the rhythm of flame.
  5. The makers said, “Let motion be smooth as breath. Let power come not in steps, but in song.”
  6. And from their vision the rotary was born.
  7. Small of size yet vast in spirit, it spun not in defiance, but in devotion.
  8. The faithful heard its cry – a wail unlike any other under heaven.
  9. From this miracle came the RX line. Machines light as wind and sharp as faith.
  10. The RX-7 became legend, the RX-8 its heir.
  11. They raced through mountain passes and neon nights. Singing hymns of speed and imperfection.
  12. The people said, “It is fragile, yet divine.”
  13. For the rotary asked much, but gave everything in return.
  14. It burned bright, though its life was brief.
  15. Mazda’s disciples did not despair.
  16. They tuned, repaired, and revived. For belief is strongest when tested.
  17. The world moved on to safer paths. But Mazda stayed true to its creed.
  18. The maker said, “To drive is to feel. And to feel is to live.”
  19. Even in endurance they found elegance.
  20. The 787B roared at Le Mans, its cry piercing the silence of doubters.
  21. Victory was theirs, and the faithful rejoiced.
  22. Yet Mazda sought no empire, only the joy of perfect motion.
  23. The rotary faded, but the memory endured.
  24. For faith once ignited never dies.
  25. And so it was written: “The flame may falter, but it is never extinguished.”

The Book Not Yet Written

There are pages still blank, stories not yet spoken, machines awaiting their moment in scripture. If there is a car, a maker, or a myth we have not yet written - speak it. And together, we shall write the next verse of the Gospel.
